Pray For Super Eagles With This Theme Song

The Nigerian National Team campaigning at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Angola will today take on arch-rivals, Ghana in the second semi final match of the tournament. Many Nigerians, home and abroad see the encounter as a big test for the coach Shaibu Amodu team which had tottered and wobbled all through.

But word from the Eagles Luanda camp have it that team coach, Amodu Shaibu and the players are not unaware of the general feeling across the land and have resolved to put up a better performance against the Black Stars who defeated them at the quarter final stage of the competition two years ago in Ghana.

Coach Amodu has hinted that he would make radical changes to the team as some of the players were evidently tired after playing two matches in one week and travelling from one end of the country to another for their group and quarter final matches.

Amodu has said that some of the fresh legs on the bench yet to taste action would be drafted in to strengthen the team .

With the red card bagged by vastly improved Onyekachi Apam in their quarter final match with Zambia, it is being speculated that CSKA Moscow roving defender, Chidi Odia could make the starting line up, depending on the fitness level of stand-in captain, Joseph Yobo.

“Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and pray that Coach Amodu makes the right substitution and changes.
Arise Nigerians and lets pray for the super eagles who have been trying to fly so high for the last couple of decades.
See you all at the screens”.
Also remember to place your comments about the game here.
Cheers.

POWER OF A DJ

One Distinctive Quality Of A Good Dj Is The Ability To Hype,Promote & Even Make A Not So Hot Music Into A Hit.If Every Dj Keeps Promoting The Hot Tracks & Neglecting The Rest….Your Guess Is As Good As Mine.
Crisis By African China Was Not A Hit Initially But Eventually Became One After Almost Half A Decade.
So Can Someone Please Tell Me What Makes A Track Hot?
Some Djs Will Promote Only Hot Tracks While Some Will Promote The Up & Coming But Yours Truly (Djmixmasterbrown)  Promotes Both…..So Lets 4LOW D DJ

Meanwhile, Enjoy This Bit I Culled From My Dj Buddie (Dj Mighty Mike)
I Hope Y’all Enjoy Reading It Especially You’re Aspiring To Be A Professional Dj…

10 TIPS ON HOW TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL DJ
1. Practice Hard, Know how to Mix and blend.

- Ever been to a party where the DJ was “Train Wrecking” all nite? he tried to mix and it just wasn’t sounding right all night.

2. Know your equipment!

3. Know your Crowd.

- Go to clubs/places where u’d like to spin and pay attention to the Dj and how the crowd reacts to him/her.
showing up with techno records to a Dancehall bash because you forgot to do your homework – things can get bad pretty quick.

4. Network! Network! Network!
go to clubs /parties and paly up with the DJ, Promoters – Ask them if you can work with them in the future. While a few will reluctantly object, some will be willing to give you some shine time.

5. Get a Business card. It shows You’re no Joke! or a “Toy DJ” like My Pop once referred me – of course that was many Yrs ago, before i blew up lol!

6. Make Mix Cds/mixtapes.
After you’ve had enough practice and feel like you’re ready to leave your bedroom studio, record your Mixes and distribute them to those who care to listen. Make them look Professional so people will take your work seriously – Perception is Everything.

7. Have an online presence.
The internet is big playground/market place. Everybody is buying and selling. Get on facebook, myspace or any other major online network. don’t be shy, advertise your work all over the place, build a network of followers. Get with a DJ alliance if possible (I represent Naija DJ’s -http://nigeriandjs.com).

8. Don’t be cheap. Spend Money on Equipments and Records.
while any seriously skilled DJ with a pair of classic Technics 1200s (industry standard turntable) and a basic mixer will almost always shut down an average DJ with the fanciest equipments, quality sets of equipments can help you elevate your game to the next level. There are a lot of wicked equipments out there. Save up some cash and get on some “performance enhancement drugs”.

9. Pick your Music style(s), know it like the back of your hand and stick to it.
No use trying to be a jack of all trades. Music is a very broad subject, you can’t be a doctor, an accountant, Computer Programmer, and a Rocket Scientist at the same time. Well maybe if you’re Albert Einstein..but that’s like one in every 200 yrs.
People are gonna ask you to play records, and you don’t want to come off like you have no clue (not cool). try to look and sound sharp.

10. The number one tip on how to become a successful DJ – Have passion for the art, put in work, pay your dues and the game goin take care of you someday.
